SCENE I: Market Place - Early Morning
The Capulets and Montagues are sworn enemies. As day breaks and the townspeople meet in the market place of Verona, a quarrel starts between Tybalt, a nephew of Capulet, and the Montague men, which develops in a severe fight in which people on both sides are injured. The Prince of Verona arrives and commands the families to end their feud.
